SLUMBER PARTY: WOMEN'S SEXUALITY RETREAT

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following terms and conditions, disclaimer, liability waiver, and cancellation policy carefully before participating in the Slumber Party: Women's Sexuality Retreat. It is your responsibility to fully understand the terms and conditions for the retreat.

Please read carefully what is and is not included in your retreat package and view all encompassing on the website. Should you have questions regarding the terms and conditions, we are available for consultation and would be happy to clarify any areas in advance of registering for this retreat. By registering and attending the retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below:

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. Slumber Party: Women's Sexuality Retreat is designed to provide educational information, discussions, and activities related to women's sexuality. It is not intended to replace professional therapy or medical advice.

  2. The retreat participants are responsible for their own well-being and should consult with a qualified professional for any specific health or mental health concerns. The facilitators, organizers, and staff are not liable for any physical, emotional, or psychological injuries or damages that may occur during or as a result of the retreat.

  3. All information gathered during the registration process is confidential. There is no sexual touching or public nudity required or permitted as part of the retreat.  Additionally, all participants agree that all information shared by participants at the retreat is kept strictly confidential both by the group leaders and other participants.

  4. Participation in any activities or discussions during the retreat is voluntary. Participants are responsible for assessing their own comfort level and boundaries and may choose to opt-out of any activity at any time without any judgment or consequences.

  5. The retreat is designed to explore and celebrate various aspects of female sexuality in a safe and consensual environment. However, it is important to note that this retreat may not be suitable for women who have experienced sexual trauma or have been sexually abused. We deeply respect the sensitivities and healing processes associated with such experiences, and our primary concern is to ensure the emotional well-being of all participants. Engaging in discussions or activities that touch upon sensitive topics related to past sexual trauma might inadvertently trigger or retraumatize individuals. Therefore, we kindly advise those who have experienced sexual trauma to seek alternative therapeutic approaches that are specifically tailored to address their needs. We encourage everyone to prioritize their emotional health and make informed decisions that best serve their healing journey.

  6. The retreat organizers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat schedule, activities, or facilitators if necessary, without prior notice.

  7. RETREAT PRICING - All prices are per person and include lodging, retreat content and most meals.  Prices do not include travel costs to and from the retreat.

  8. RETREAT PAYMENT - Payment is due in full at time of registration. Payment can be made by credit card via the website.

  9. STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY - If you wish to cancel your retreat you must notify Couples Workshops NC (“The Host”) via email at info@couplesworkshopsnc.com. Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to retreat start date will be fully refunded less $500 processing fee.  There are no refunds on cancellations made in less than 30 days to the retreat start date. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for ANY reason, including weather, terrorism, civil unrest, health changes, personal emergencies or otherwise. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.

  10. TRANSFER POLICY - Registration cannot be transferred from one retreat to another.

  11. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS - For those traveling from outside the U.S., you are responsible to verify and attain any necessary documentation required.

  12. CONTINUING EDUCATION - This retreat offers up to 10 CE Hours to NC Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists. For all other professions you will receive a certificate to submit to your licensure board, however we do not guarantee that they will be accepted towards licensure renewal or any certification process.

  13. ROOMMATE ASSIGNMENTS - Retreat rates are per person. Double or otherwise advertised shared rooms require shared occupancy for the specified room rate. If you book a shared room without a specified roommate(s), we will do our very best to match you with your desired room type and price point. In the event we can’t find you a roommate for your first pick, we will present you with different rooming options. This means that if there is no roommate, you will have to pay for the full room cost for a single room rate, not shared rate.

  14. LIABILITY - Please be aware that the owner of the home hosting the retreat assumes no responsibility or liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the event. While every effort is made to provide a safe and secure environment, participation in the retreat is entirely voluntary, and attendees are responsible for their own well-being and actions. It is strongly recommended that all participants exercise caution, follow safety guidelines, and take necessary precautions to avoid any potential risks. The owner of the premises shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from the use of the property or any activities conducted during the retreat. By attending the retreat, participants acknowledge and agree to release the property owner from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise out of their presence or participation in the event.
